Anda mungkin sering membuat kwitansi, atau nota, atau yang lain sejenisnya dan anda membutuhkan fungsi terbilangnya nominal uang. Nah daripada anda harus mengetik tiap kali nominal uang yang bisa berbeda - beda, ada baiknya anda menggunakan fungsi khusus, sehingga berapa pun nominalnya, biarkan excel sendiri yang menterjemahkan buat anda.

Fungsi ini dibuat dengan memanfaatkan fungsi macro yang ada di Excel. Langsung saja, berikut adalah langkah - langkahnya :

1. Buka Microsoft Excel
2. Klik di Tools -> Macro -> Visual Basic Editor, maka akan muncul Visual Basic Editor
3. Di Visual Basic Editor, klik Insert -> Module

5. Setelah selesai tutup Visual Basic Editor anda
6. Sekarang saat nya menge-test fungsi ini apakah sudah berjalan dengan baik atau belum, di bagian cell A1, isikan angka sembarang semisal 1.234.567
7. Pada bagian cell A2 tuliskan fungsi berikut :
   =terbilang(Angka,Style,"Satuan")
   atau
   =terbilang(a1,3,"rupiah")

   Keterangan :
   - Angka dapat berupa langsung angka, ataupun juga alamat cell seperti A1,A2

   - Style merupakan gaya penulisan, isikan angka 1 - 4 :
   Style 1 = Teks ditulis dalam huruf besar semua (uppercase)
   Style 2 = Teks ditulis dalam huruf kecil semua (lowercase)
   Style 3 = Teks ditulis dalam huruf besar pada awal kata (title case)
   Style 4 = Teks ditulis dalam huruf besar pada awal kalimat (sentence case)

   - Satuan merupakan jenis satuan yang anda pakai misal : rupiah

8. Nah sampai pada tahap ini, jika fungsi dapat menerjemahkan angka dengan benar, maka fungsi terbilang sudah berjalan dengan baik.
